The Library of Congress is the perfect place to find primary source analysis strategies, tools and resources for National History Day (NHD) 2015: Leadership & Legacy in History. To help teachers prepare to guide students in researching and creating a NHD project, TPS-Barat will be offering an online teacher professional development workshop in November as well as teaming up with Chicago Metro History Education Center (CMHEC) to offer some face-to-face training. TPS-Barat will also make a presentation the CMHEC History Fair Teachers Kickoff & Reception Tuesday, October 14 from 4pm to 6pm at the Newberry Library, 60 W. Walton, Chicago 60610 so if you’re in the Chicago Metro area, please join us. Last, but not least, TPS-Barat will be posting resource lists to help students jump start their research and advice as they go along, so be sure to check in frequently for NHD 2015 posts.
