The Library of Congress YouTube™ channel features, “Timeless treasures and contemporary presentations from the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.” On the Library’s YouTube homepage you will find a featured video as well as a browsable list of the most recent uploads and the Library’s playlists.

Video Uploads

To access all the videos the Library has uploaded, click the Videos tab. The default view shows all uploads with the list view of videos by date added (newest).

Use the dropdown menus to change from uploads to live streams; to sort videos by date added (newest), date added (oldest), or most popular; and to change views from list to grid.

Video Playlists

Playlists are collections of videos typically organized by theme. Access these by clicking the Playlists tab. The default view shows all playlists with the list view of the last video added.

Use the dropdown menus to sort playlists by last video addeddate created (oldest), or date created (newest) and to change views from list to grid.

Playlists includes resources for teachers, film collections, Library webcasts, National Book Festival videos and more. Teachers will be particularly interested in the playlists linked to below.
